|JISC Learner Experiences with e-Learning Pilot Workshop|
|Tuesday, 09 September 2008|
A series of workshops to disseminate the findings from the second phase of the JISC Learner Experiences strand projects will begin with a pilot workshop, by invitation only, on 12 November 2008 at The Academy in York. We would like to invite you to attend so that you can give us your feedback on the suitability of the workshop and the resources for the institutions and individuals that you work with. We are keen to trial the workshop materials with you and value your role as a ‘critical friend’ so that we can ensure that we are providing what future delegates need and that they will be able to take and adapt the materials for their own institutions.
The second phase of the JISC Learner Experiences strand was launched in March 2007 with seven studies focused on different areas of the learning experience. These projects have been developing qualitative research methods and tools to capture learners’ lived experiences. The projects have sought to see the use of technologies holistically, through the eyes of learners, offering an insight into how learners experience and participate in learning in technology-rich environments.
